A duplex is a style of residential house where two dwellings share a central wall. The resulting two homes are usually the same size and may have ‘mirror image’ floorplans. Each has their own entrance, private outdoor areas, and the full range of rooms (including garage, kitchen and laundry).
You’ve heard of the idea of ‘two for one’ and that’s what you get with a duplex! A duplex home offers you two homes that are separate yet together.
